Helpful Tips for your Debt Settlement Process:
- Be prepared for some tough questions. Once the tough questions are answered, you'll be able to relax a little bit but it's always the start that's the hardest.
- Be honest. If you weren't honest because you were embarrassed, see step one. We're here to help and we've heard it all before. This is not easy and we understand your pain and we want to help. The more honest you are, the quicker and easier we can help.
- Track all the calls received from Creditors and collection agencies. Make notes from every substinative conversation.
- Don't give your creditors more amunition to use against you. Just sit tight and follow your debt consultant's advice regarding your creditors.
- Always understand the complete process and know what to expect. Ask questions until you know you know what you need to know and know more if you want to.
- Keep all correspondence from your creditors at least until the settlement process is finished.
- Make all your payments on time. This is very important so that you build money in your account so we can pay off your creditors in scheduled time. It is this act of discipline that can lay the foundation for your credit future.
- Communicate. Things happen, we know that. Nobody lives in a bubble. If something comes up and you really need to redirect funds for a month, call us as soon as possible. Acceptable reasons to miss a payment include, (but are not limited to), displacement expenses in case of natural disaster, vital transportation costs, job loss. Non-acceptable reasons to miss a payment include, (but are not limited to), hair transplant surgery, new television set, placed down payment on walk-in-humidor.
- Get others enrolled in your process. We're not saying for you to go to work for First Freedom, (although a testimonial is appreciated). We are suggesting getting a close friend or family member excited for you that you're going to be out of debt in just months. This will help you stay on track. Once you have your account login, you can grant that person special access to review your account and see the progress you are making. This is just one added incentive to finish what you started with this program.
- Relax. You called First Freedom Debt Solution! :)
